Juvenile Cowbird

A few weeks ago I saw the below bird and at first I thought it was a sparrow until a Chipping Sparrow landed next to it. I then then realized that it was not a sparrow as it was much bigger...This past winter I did noticed a few Brown-headed Cowbirds in our backyard and remember reading that they tend to lay their eggs on unsuspecting birds nest...I quickly grabbed my camera and took this, albeit fuzzy, photo of a juvenile Brow-headed cowbird? Also, the Chipping Sparrow was clearly 'taking care' of this other bird while both were on our deck as well on underneath a pine tree...
